Renewal & Reporting Requirements

Beginning February 2, 2026, NYC DOB sidewalk shed permits issued or renewed in DOB NOW will expire every 90 days and require manual renewal with a $130 fee. New PW1/PW2 questions will also require applicants and Registered Design Professionals to certify project progress and compliance with Local Laws 48 and 51 of 2025.

PE/RA: Sidewalk Shed Permit Justification

✔️ PE/RA will be required to look up the job number, and navigate to the PW2 Tab

✔️ Once there, they will complete the Sidewalk Shed Permit Justification tab and sign the Attestation
